The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV launches later this year in three distinct trims with more range and content, for retail and commercial customers.
“Truck customers tell us range is one of the main barriers to considering an EV. The 2024 Silverado EV was already the range leader, and for this new model year, we’ve set the bar even higher,” said James Hodge, Brand Director, Chevrolet Canada. “This increased capability and accessibility is great news for the segment, the industry, and the brand.”

Introducing Silverado EV LT
The LT trim level comes to the Silverado EV for the first time.
Highlights include:
A Premium Package adds the following features:
Work Truck now available with expanded trims
The Silverado EV WT, which was launched last year, now offers Canadian customers three different battery options, giving them a choice of range, content, and price. The Max Range Silverado EV WT leads with up to 792 km1 of estimated range on a full charge, setting a new standard for electric trucks.
More range available on RST
The Silverado EV RST is now available with two different battery pack options and offers a maximum estimated range of up 740 km2 on a full charge. The RST is available in six exterior colours, including trim-exclusive Zephyr Blue Matte Metallic.
The 2025 Silverado EV RST also includes Sidewinder as standard equipment. Sidewinder, one of Silverado EV RST’s standard four-wheel steering modes, allows all four wheels to turn in the same direction and move the truck diagonally at speeds up to 32 km/h. The feature, selectable from the infotainment screen, gives drivers a new way to conquer everything from rugged terrain to tight parking spaces.
Coming Later this Year
Chevrolet expects to ship 2025 Silverado EV WT, LT and RST to customers before the end of the year. Pricing will be available closer to start of production. The Silverado EV is assembled in North America with globally-sourced parts at GM’s Factory ZERO Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Michigan — a facility repurposed and retooled with a $2.2-billion investment devoted to EV production.
